Riad Si Said in Marrakech - Dining
Destination dining
These magical moments in secluded locations at the Angsana riads include a personalised menu, fresh flowers and entertainment from live musicians, belly dancers and story tellers.
Clair de Lune (Moroccan Moonlight)
Savour spectacular views of Marrakech from the rooftop terrace of the Riad Si Said as the sun sets and local musicians serenade you. Dip into a succession of home-cooked dishes; the best of Moroccan cuisine takes centre stage, with a selection of steaming couscous with lamb, caramelised onions, and vegetable; savoury flaky pastilla filled with choice of pigeon, beef or lamb; traditional chakchuka salads comprising marinated figs; and finale of mint tea and sweets to digest away the heady meal.
Au Coin du Feu (Beside the Fireplace)
Sit at a traditional Moroccan round table and stools in a charming niche in front of an intricate fireplace. Choosing from Moroccan or Thai specialties, perhaps a chicken tagine with pickled lemons or lamb tagine with honey, raisins, saffron, and almonds, both amongst the most noble recipes of the Moroccan kitchen.
Heaven on Earth
Located on the upper rooftop of the Riad Si Said try the Thai cuisine, famously light and fresh. A crunchy Thai seafood salad is followed by the iconic prawn tom yam soup, a delicately spiced lemongrass and kieffer lime broth in which a variety of vegetables and seafood is quickly immersed. A main course of masaman curry, Muslim in origin but popular in Thailand, a sweetish tamarind and coconut milk curry which is made with beef or chicken. A Marrakech Ice Cream Tree rounds off the meal.
Arabian Night
Enjoy a traditional Moroccan diner on the rooftop with entertainment from fire eaters, snake charmers and belly dancers.
