Perhaps Dar Anebar set the bar too high--while Les Yeux Bleus was very pretty and well-situated, it did not match Dar Anebar's atmosphere of welcome and warmth. The rooms are also much smaller, though, very charming, and the bathrooms have no doors. Its food was good but not as good as in Fes, either. Our rooms the first night were on the noisy ground floor, but we were able to move to the second floor the second night which helped quite a bit. The staff was helpful and perfectly courteous but not nearly as outwardly passionate about their work as at Dar Anebar. Perhaps not having the owner on site here made that degree of reserve come through. B.G. in January 2010
What an exquisitely restored riad, with efficient, friendly staff, and delicious dinners. We found our rooms quite small but very comfortable (a little disconcerting to have a bathroom with no door!). Wonderful terrace for breakfast, enjoying the sunset etc. - the whole experience was greatly enhanced by the presence of Nanou (beautiful ginger cat)! Overall rating 5/5. MvdW in November 2009
