Riad Laora in Marrakech - Clients
The heavy rain on our arrival in the medina created a very depressing picture but the warm welcome we received from the staff and the internal environment of Riad Laora soon raised our spirits. The authentic facilities were comfortable interesting and the food was very good. The staff catered for our every need in a pleasant and helpful way. Overall rating: 4 out of 5 B.S. in March 2010
This was our first experience staying in a Riad..a bit taken aback with the location..(a bit dodgy especially for a group of females travelling) most of the Riads we noticed in Marakesh seemed to be in the same sort of alleyway location and with lots of "corner boys" one felt a bit vunerable! But once we got over the threshold we were delighted with everything, our room was lovely and the food and service brilliant. E.Y. in February 2010
Excellent - the Riad and all it's staff were welcoming, friendly and we were encouraged to feel as if we were at home - which we genuinely felt. The Riad was sparklingly clean and beautiful, our room had everything we needed and more. The simple fresh moroccan breakfast suited us perfectly. J.L. in February 2010
Riad Laora was a haven of tranquillity in the vibrant, hectic city of Marrakech. The Rooms were beautifully decorated; the Moroccan breakfast (cakes, pancakes, bread a variety of jams, great coffee plus other delightful morsels) started the day perfectly. The evening meals were superb; I can strongly recommend the Lamb, peach and prune tagine. The Staff were excellent, helpful, friendly and polite. Rating: 5 out of 5 R.Q. in February 2010
We all enjoyed the Riad Laora - very nice bedrooms and bathrooms, good breakfasts - the manageress and staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly - nothing too much trouble and on our departure day we were able to use the roof terrace until the afternoon, very kind. R.S. in February 2010
lovely room and really helpful and courteous staff. Very noisy at 5am as it's next to a mosque. R.H. in October 2009
Lovely, peaceful, tranquil oasis. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend staying here. R.E. in July 2009
Every member of staff was very welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The riad is a wonderful oasis of calm amidst a manic city! We ate six of our seven evening meals in the riad because vegetarian eating is not easy in the city. Every meal was wonderful. The Visitors' Book is testament to the very high quality of service offered at Riad Laora. Highly recommended! A.K. in October 2008
A wonderful place to spend our first visit to Marrakech, the staff could not have been helpful and friendly. We recommend an evening meal taken on their rooftop terrace, it was lit with lanterns and candles and the home cooked meal was extremely good. The Riad Laora was an oasis of calm and peace from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, highly recommended. A.C. in May 2008
The riad [Laora] was lovely and our hosts were very attentive. We had fabulous meals at La Foudouk and Dar Yacout as well as somewhere the riad recommended. We had a lovely meal in the riad the first night, so all in all we had a great time. N.S. in February 2008
I just wanted to write to say how wonderful our holiday in Marrakech was ... the Riad Laora was fabulous, an oasis, we had a perfect break. The staff at the riad could not have been more charming, helpful or informative. As for the glories of Marraekch, we just loved it and will definitely return. K.C. in October 2005
