Riad Kaiss in Marrakech - Clients

This riad is like living in a miniature palace and we could not fault it. Possibly the nicest hotel my wife and I have stayed in in many years of travelling. D.P. in March 2010

This is still a magic Riad. It is really beautiful BUT it has changed hands and we did not think it was so good as two years ago. It is quite expensive for what you get!!! Ideally placed. We did not eat here this time. Rating 4 out of 5 J.N. in November 2009

Calm, peaceful place in the heart of the Medina. Breakfast bread to die for, lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. Owner, Christine, fabulous. No sun but it didn't matter! P.J. in March 2009

Staying at a Riad was a complete change from a 'normal' hotel and a lovely experience. Having breakfast served on the rooftop balcony while looking out over Marrakesh and listening to the birds was lovely. J.C. in January 2009

There was much to be pleased with: they actually gave us the best meal we had on the whole trip... the rooms were pleasant and the beds extremely comfortable; The staff were thoroughly friendly and willing, and the location was ideal. BUT ...there are definite signs that it is missing a firm hand. R.CB. in January 2009

This was real comfort and wonderful to stay in as the final leg of our holiday. Actually there was no plug in the bathroom and one electric socket was hanging out of the wall, but this did really did not affect us and so we said nothing. The extra expense of a room with terrace (Room 3) was WELL worth it - we had breakfast on the terrace every day. J.P. in October 2008

We had room nine which has a private terrace and is light and airy, however the ground floor rooms are rather dark. The staff though willing and polite if asked, seemed to lack motivation and thus whatever you asked for may not appear!! A.E. in October 2008

Very well looked after; the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We had an excellent light (??!!) meal on arrival anmd the breakfast were good. However I thought the Riad was looking a little run down...Having said that it is in an ideal location and the accommodation and service were both very good. This wonderful riad felt like our own oasis in the bustling medina of Marrakech. Beautifully exotic courtyard gardens, wonderful food and service and best of all we felt was the rooftop terrace where we relished every sunset. M.I. in October 2007

[We] can heartily recommend the Riad Kaiss. We were welcomed with mint tea in the courtyard lit by candles, fountains playing, with floating rose petals.
