Riad Bab Firdaus in Marrakech

The Riad Bab Firdaus (meaning "Gateway to Heaven"), owned, managed and run by the world famous Banyantree hotels, is a 7 room riad filled with traditional artefacts, hand-woven carpets and custommade furniture.
Relax on the roof terrace, patio, in the swimming pool or the jet pool, or enjoy a hammam.
Hotel amenities also include a terrace restaurant (one of our top five places to eat), a Thai restaurant and internet access.
The 4 de-luxe rooms each have a shower as does one of the suites; the other suites have a bath. Other room facilities include air conditioning, mini bar and safe.
Please note that the rooftop is currently closed for re-design. The Thai restaurant has been transferred to the patio, and clients are able to use the rooftops of the other Angsana riads free of charge.

Camel Trekking in MoroccoFeedback and reviews
1. Again a large and comfortable room, though I am not sure it was a 'suite'. 2. Excellent heating, and the staff produced an extra electric radiator. Very welcome as it was cold and wet for much of our time there. 3. Superb situation close to the various palaces and not too far from the soukh and square. 4. Staff again helpful and attentive. 5. And the hotel did have one or two extra points of luxury - such as slippers and bath robes. 6. We also ate at one of the other Riads in the chain just for dinner and for a 'Moroccan evening'. Quite good but prices inflated by 12.5% tax and 12.5% compulsory service, the only time we met either of those. R.M. in November 2008
