Landrover Safari - Itinerary B 3

B3: 5 Day Merzouga and Rissani

Available mid October - end of April

Day 1
Depart Ouarzazate 0900 driving along the Draa valley road and then on piste to Tansikht. Rejoin road to Tazzarine. Piste to Foum Tizza and camp for the night in the small dunes.

Day 2
Follow the piste through Oum Jrane, Rich Sidi and Jebel Zireg. Overnight in the dunes at Jebel Zireg.

Day 3
Follow the piste towards the River Ziz and on to Taouz and the vast dunes of Merzouga. Overnight on the slopes of the dunes.

Day 4
Piste to the ancient city of Rissani and then drive on the road to Msissi and Tazzarine. Overnight near Bab n'Ali in the Jebel Sargo range (Some of the most spectacular scenery you will see anywhere in Morocco)

Day 5
Cross the Jebel Sargho range via the Tizi n'Tazzazert Pass, joining the main road at Boumaine and return to Ouarzazate.

Driving times are indicative and do not take into account stops for lunch, photographs or resting.
