Ksar Char Bagh in Marrakech

Located in the palmeraie area of Marrakech, the Ksar is influenced by the 14th century Moorish architecture with carved plaster, marbles and an abundance of running water and perfumed scents.

The large heated swimming pool is surrounded by palm trees, and a second pool on top of the ksar's tower gives views across the palmgrove.

The large gardens feature citrus orchards, fig trees, olive groves and the tinkling of fountains. A 'ruin' provides a nomad terrace and tea room; the path through the fruit orchard leads to a farm with medieval kitchen garden.

The kitchen garden provides the chef of the restaurant with rare vegetables and aromatic herbs; the olive oil is produced from the olive groves, and the fruit trees are the source the marmalade.

Breakfasts are varied each day and can be taken in the Harim, in the gardens, or on the nomad terrace.

The 12 Harim suites (a Persian name referring to a small apartment located in a palace) all offer a terrace and other areas to relax in the sun or the shade. The Traditional and Large Harims have either a terrace or a garden, and there is a large Harim with a private pool in the garden. There is also an apartment which has the luxury of a private pool on the terrace.

Inside the suites is a living room with fireplace, bedroom with dressing room, a bathroom with marble bath & a shower. The king sized bed, air-conditioning and heating provide for your comfort. Television, CD & DVD player, wi-fi and a mini-bar are there for entertainment.

Other facilities include a hammam, massages with perfumed oils (available in the hammam, the 'ruin' and in the Harims), beauty treatments, a library, billiard room and tennis court. A boutique sells all the items of furniture and other objects designed by the owners of the Ksar Char Bagh, and they can be ordered on request.

The three Golf courses of Marrakech are 15 minutes away - the Ksar is a partner of the Royal Golf club.
