Hotel Kasbah Tamadot in Asni - Clients

After an hour long transfer from the city we arrived at what can only be described as paradise on Earth. It is an oasis of calm and tranquility in the middle of the beautiful Atlas Mountains. It is the sort of place where you have to pinch yourself to know it is for real. We had a beautiful room, with our son having the tower room which was directly above us, set apart from the main building which gave us splendid views both up and down the valley. Every eventuality was covered for in our rooms-from the Bose to allow you to listen to soothing music to your own slippers to relax in to the umbrella just in case the weather turned a little inclement. You were made to feel important and welcoming on every occasion and nothing seemed too much effort .All the staff from the Berbers to the English couple who managed the Kasbah were open and friendly and always had the time of day for you. Every evening meal was different as we used various locations around the Kasbah but wherever we ate it resplendent with its floral decorations, excellent service and fine dining. If you go nowhere else in the world you must go to Kasbah Tamadot at least once but then you would want to go back again to make sure you weren't just dreaming!! D.B. in August 2009
An amazing place. Slightly surreal. We loved the mule ride excursion and the feeling that the Kasbah did a great deal for the local community. Room was not huge, but the bath was! Amazing antique furnishings - ceilings from India, for example. Great breakfasts. Decent food otherwise. T.W. in May 2008
We have been to many places in the world but this has to be one of the best. Excellent in nearly every respect. Courteous staff, superb accommodation, wonderful quiet and calm surroundings, and a nice big warm infinity pool all set in a dream location...if only the world was all like this! Everything you would expect in an hotel of this class. Beautiful building in a stunning location. The service was immaculate and the food was excellent (dinner cost about the same as the restaurants in Marrakech). It does rain and gets cold in the mountains in March! I.M. in March 2008
A most unforgettable experience! The kasbah is quite an exceptional hotel; the situation, the comfort, the food, the staff. All were quite faultless. Sir Richard and his mother Eve must be congratulated on the integration they have achieved with the community. They are highly regarded amongst the locals which is admirable. the bed was extremely hard again! J.O. in March 2008
An oasis of calm. Every thought had been given to the tired traveller, Cds to borrow and play on the Bose equipment in the room, locally made slippers to wear and take away, fresh flowers and fruit everywhere and a constantly boiling urn for tea in the spa - the Hammam bath was wonderfully invigorating and is highly recommended. Friendly and kindly staff made the experience unforgettable. K.B. in March 2008
