Marrakech and Fes Travel Ideas
This is an example itinerary that takes you to Fes, one of the great cities of Islam and the most precious of all Morocco's treasures, and then onto the vibrant city of Marrakech. The contrast between the two cities make this combination a very interesting holiday, particularly with the different choices of riads and boutique hotels available in each city.
The cost of the itinerary as described is from £990 per person, based on two people sharing with flights from London.

Day 1
Flight to Fes
Arrive at Fes airport mid-morning where you will be met and transferred to the Dar El Ghalia by a representative of the hotel.
Four nights in a standard room with breakfast while you explore this Imperial city. There are a variety of very good restaurants in which to dine each evening.
Days 2 to 4
The core attraction is Old-Fes, the medina with its relentless wave of activity and the tanneries. A trip up to the Mernid Tombs will give you a wonderfuul view over the city. You can also enjoy a day trip to the old roman ruins of Volubilis.
Day 5
Flight from Fes to Marrakech
After the morning flight you will be transferred by our representative to the Riad Kaiss where you will have four nights accommodation with breakfast. Marrakech has a large variety of restaurants as well as the open air stalls in the Djmaa el Fna.
Days 5 to 8
A magical setting against the High Atlas mountain and the minaret of the Koutouba Mosque looking over the city. Take a tour of the city in a calche, and then dive into the rabit waren of the souks. Our representative can also arrange tours round Marrakech or further afield (Marrakech Excursions).
Day 9
Return to London
You will be transferred by our Representative to Marrakech Airport for a later afternoon flight check-in.
