How, When and Where?
If you have never been to Morocco and need guidance, then contact a member of our staff to discuss dates, hotels / riads, destinations and all the other elements that go into making a memorable holiday. If you are thinking of staying in more than one place it is important to bear in mind that Morocco is made up of 4 basic and contrasting elements: cities (Marrakech, Fes, Taroudant, Casablanca), mountains (the High, Middle, Anti Atlas), the Sahara Desert (Ouarzazate, Zagora, Erfoud), coast and beaches (Oualidia, Essaouira). Obviously if you are going to change locations it is best to try and create as much contrast as possible.
Try not to include too many destinations in your plans as you could spend most of your holiday in a car.
Once you have chosen a resort such as Marrakech, the final choice of hotel does very much depend on you looking at the photographs, the facilities that you prefer and your budget - each of our staff has their own favourites but all the accommodation is hand-picked and recommended by us.
Single Centre Holidays
Ideal for those who do not have time to combine two or more destinations or would like to be based in one place and explore the surrounding area.
2 or 3 Centre Holidays
If you have a week or more and want a contrasting combination, this could be ideal. Depending of course on the destinations that you would like to visit, you will probably need to consider a self-drive car as this will give you greater freedom and may well be less expensive than transfers (trains are a possibility between Fes, Casablanca, Marrakech and Rabat). Decide on the 2 or 3 places you would like to visit and we will give you a quotation.
Multi Centre holiday (4 or more destinations)
Providing you have the time (generally at least a week), we can plan and book an exciting and varied itinerary with you. As a starting point, consider these Ideas For Itineraries.
Procedure
In genereal we suggest you contact us more than eight weeks prior to your preferred departure date. This gives the best chance of getting the best flights and accommodation for your holiday. In particular the availability of accommodation over New Year becomes very tight by mid-september.
Firstly we will help you plan your preferred itinerary. Once this is agreed, we can start holding flights and accommodation (for this we need your name and payment card details, but no money is taken at this point). It is possible that hotels will not have availability, and we will then discuss the possible modifications (e.g. room upgrades, different hotel, order of hotels, departure dates). Once all the accommodation is confirmed for your holiday we will take a deposit of £175 per person and our Booking Conditions apply (regardless of a signed or unsigned booking form being provided). The balance is taken 8 weeks before departure (or at the same time as the deposit for departures in the next 8 weeks). If you wish to pay by cheque or bank transfer we will need these instructions in writing. Please note that a transaction fee applies to payments by credit card (not debit card); the fee is 1.95% of the value for most cards, and 2.5% for American Express.
Once we have received your deposit we will be send a confirmation of account which includes basic details about your holiday. Your detailed itinerary, list of hotel telephone/fax numbers, flight tickets, luggage labels and our Essential information on Morocco
booklet are sent to you 2 to 3 weeks prior to your departure.
Calculating the cost of your holiday
The website shows all inclusive costs for single-centre holidays are generally exact but do not indicate availability. For multi-centre holidays the Online Quotation system will give a guideline price for an inclusive holiday, again without confirming availability, while an accurate costing depends the exact itinerary.

10% celebrity surcharge
Our experience shows that celebrities invariably ask for reduced prices, special treatment, upgrades on flights and hotels etc etc. These requests are made in spite of the fact that most celebrities are the people who can afford to pay the brochure price, suites and club class flights.
Therefore, anyone claiming
celebrity status
will have a 10% celebrity surcharge
added to
their confirmation and account. This will enable Best of Morocco to offer the
celebrity
the 5% discount that he / she
craves and it will cover the additional time needed to advise all concerned in
Morocco of the arrival of someone they have possibly never heard of.
How do I pay securely?
Our website does not provide a secure online payment method, neither does e-mail. You can telephone or fax payment card details to us, or you can send cheques or payment card details by post. Our contact details are shown on our contact page.
Large scale map of Morocco
If you are booking a 2 or more centre holiday a large scale road map is essential and can be sent to you at the reduced price of £6 (overseas order, add £4.50 for postage).
