... read_more...Proudly owned and managed by Jamal Atbir, this small, quiet, unassuming Imouzzer hotel of 27 rooms, which are simple and rustic with terrace or balcony and private bath and shower, has a homelike dining room, lounges and terraces affording stunning vistas. The hotel has magnificent gardens leading to paths into the countryside. Breakfast is served on the large terrace. On a clear evening you can watch the sun setting over the Atlantic. The main dining room has a central log fireplace for the cooler months.
The Cascades is an idyllic place for ramblers, painters, photographers, bird-watchers and honeymooners.
It should be noted that winter nights can be extremely cold and the central heating / hot water system is not always as it should be.
Trekking and excursions
Visit the nearby waterfalls (usually dry from May - Nov) or ride a mule to the local souk.
Walking treks into the surrounding area for a half or full day with french speaking guide, or longer treks staying in simple Berber houses or gites.
