Dar les Cigognes Riad in Marrakech - Cookery

Moroccan cuisine is renowned as one of the great cuisines of the world - the Dar Les Cigognes welcomes you into their kitchen to savour the feast of Moroccan dishes and the diversity Morocco has to offer.

Why not try to find out what is the secret of making couscous or a lamb tajine. Discover the pleasure of Moroccan cuisine and learn by your 'dada' (traditional Moroccan cook) Mr Rachid the art of Moroccan cooking to prepare traditional plates.

The workshop takes place at 6.30pm in the kitchen of Dar Les Cigognes, just as in a family home. A complimentary glass of wine, aprons and notepads will all be ready for your lesson.

At 7.30pm you sit down for dinner. The meal begins with a home made soup and your choice of starter; for the main course enjoy the dish your prepared earlier; top it off with a dessert of your taste.

The cooking class costs 250dh per person, in addition to the normal dinner price. This workshop and private dinner must be reserved in advance, as there is only room for one couple per night.
